Books for Breakfast: Warsaw Orphan

Each month we discuss a book which the group has chosen at the end of the previous year.

In July 2026 we will discuss Warsaw Orphan by Kelly Rimmer. 

The story is based on real-life hero Elzbieta Rabinek during World War II in Poland: her involvement with the Resistance and her love for a young man imprisoned in the Jewish ghetto whose passion leads him to fight in the Warsaw Uprising. 

At Books for Breakfast we try to have coffee and tea available, usually one of the members brings a snack or treat, based on a schedule we create at an earlier meeting. The food & coffee is incidental to the book discussion.
