Program Description

Event Details

In June 2026 we will discuss Shelterwood by Lisa Wingate.

Two timelines: In turn-of-the-century Oklahoma, children flee their "guardians", hiding in the woods as "elves." Decades later, a park ranger uncovers their story while investigating missing persons, linking past exploitation and murder to a present-day mystery in the national park.

We will try to have the book for our NEXT MONTH's meeting available for our members to check out. If you are new to the group, you can place a hold yourself, or contact a librarian to help you get ahold of the book for the upcoming meeting.

At Books for Breakfast we try to have coffee and tea available, usually one of the members brings a snack or treat, based on a schedule we create at an earlier meeting. The food & coffee is incidental to the book discussion.
