Event Details

Each month we discuss a mystery book. Our book for January 13 is The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides.

An artist stabbed her husband 5 times in the face, then refused to speak. Alicia's refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety. Criminal psychotherapist Theo Faber becomes dangerously obsessed with uncovering the truth about what prompted his client to violently murder her husband in such a public, horrific way.

The book is available to borrow at the Circulation Desk, usually by the previous month's meeting. For example, the March book will be available upon request at the Circulation Desk between the February meeting and the date of the March meeting.
