Program Description

Event Details

Each month we discuss a mystery book on the second Thursday morning.

In honor of April Fool's Day, in April 2024 we will discuss Everyone in My Family has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson.

This book is a hilarious break from our usual mystery book club fare. One reader called it "a fun little detective thriller with plenty of twists but also suffers a bit by being too smart for its own good." While actually dealing with a murder mystery, the author consciously addresses the creation of a mystery novel, analyzing his own book while he's writing it. There are lots of bodies, but it doesn't seem real - so prepare for an April Fool's murder mystery voyage!

The book will be available to borrow at the Circulation Desk, usually by the previous month's meeting. For example, the March book will be available upon request at the Circulation Desk between the February meeting and the date of the March meeting.
