Teen Trends To Go: Naturally Dyed Fabric Pouches

Event Details

Use items from nature to dye your own fabric! You can create whatever you want with your naturally dyed fabric, but we will also show you how to make a fabric pouch.

This is a virtual program, a video tutorial with step by step instructions will be uploaded on our Facebook page.

Registration is required to receive a kit. The kit will include fabric, washing powder, alum powder, needle, and thread. You will need to gather your own material for dying such as avocados, cabbage, beets, black beans, turmeric, etc. Here is a chart of what colors each food will create. Kits will be set aside like holds and will be available for pickup starting the week of April 25.
