Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a talk about the process and research involved in the creation of David Trexler's genealogy monograph: Trexler Family History. Specific chapters to be discussed will be Chapters 8 and 9, where we journey to the past to the forgotten village of California, NY, a place "midway between the bounds of VanBuren and the Village of Jordan on the old Erie Canal". Here, we will learn how David traced his ancestry to the once prosperous American Cement Co. and all that he found in photographs, museums, and more. A Q&A will be available at the end of the talk with the Author.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Julia P at Juliap@bville.lib.ny.us or call the library at 315-635-5631.
