Each month we discuss a mystery book on the second Thursday morning.
In December 2025 we will discuss Deck the Hounds by David Rosenfelt.
This Christmas mystery, featuring criminal defense lawyer Andy Carpenter and his faithful golden retriever, Tara, showcases Rosenfelt’s trademark humor and larger-than-life characters. Andy encounters a homeless man with a faithful dog. When the dog defends the man in a midnight altercation and bites their attacker, local authorities take the dog. Andy & his wife volunteer to give them both a temporary home - and then things get complicated...
The book will be available to borrow at the Circulation Desk, usually by the previous month's meeting. For example, the March book will be available upon request at the Circulation Desk between the February meeting and the date of the March meeting.
