Program Description
Event Details
This program includes information on several types of family trees as well as the variety of ways to share them digitally and non-digitally.
One of the ways will be about a Family Food Tree, which comes for the National Archives as a way to get kids interested in genealogy while allowing for non-traditional family to take part - not just in terms of step-parents or adoptees, but also including other caretakers, even close friends and/or neighbors (i.e., your "found family").
The idea is everyone shares what their favorite food/dish is, then there are various ways to share that - via a recipe swap, a potluck, etc.!
This is a hybrid event. Join either in person or online.
Registration is required to get the link. Register below or call the library.
