Boat Launch

Please join us, along with Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli, as we formally launch our canal boat, located in the Maryella and Elizabeth Children's Corner of the library.  Funding for the boat and murals includes a generous grant from Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli. 

We will also be dedicating and renaming our story room in honor of the late Barbara Aitken, former trustee, who served as board president for 12 years.  She is greatly missed by her family at the library, and we are very happy to honor her memory in this way.

The boat will be named in honor of past board president Ed McManus.  Ed was president of the library board when the present library location was built and the boat was conceived.
